Hey CraigL or LCP, how do the 'auto' dimming rear views work?

They're pretty awesome...
There's a sensor at the bottom of the interior rear-view mirror that senses the light coming from behind you. At night, they automatically dim some. The interior rear-view dims to a charcoal tint while the side view mirrors dim to a greenish tint. I didn't think much of the system when I got the car but it's great. The only drawback is sitting at a light with a car behind you -- if the car is too close to your rear bumper so that it's headlights don't shine into the interior rearview mirror then none of the mirrors dim (by dim I mean dim even more) even if lights are shining brightly in from the sideview mirrors.
