Default hey guys! long time no speak... lets talk about that new M3...

just kidding guys! seriously, i took my first ride in an s4 the other day- i love the way the car pulls HARD in all gears and if the shortshifter kit takes care of the clunky feel of the 6sp then the s4 cool in my book (like you guys care!)

PS

everytime i wash a woolen pullover it shrinks slightly. how come sheep don't shrink in the rain?

Does anyone have a comparison of a chipped S4 vs. M5?

Default Stage 3 MTM puts down 25hp & 75ft/lbs more than the new M5. More like Superman vs. Batman! :)

Check out the numbers. MTM Stage 3 is 350+hp and 415ft/lbs torque to the wheels. If its just a chip then M5 has a little advantage in HP but S4 has big advantage in Torque.

Default Umm.....I think you're thinking of the new M3, not the M5.

The M5 has something like 394 bhp. Tough order for even a Stage III S4 to match, though the M5 is bigger and (I think) heavier.

The graph he posted says M5. Maybe the numbers they quote aren't at the wheels??? Dunno
