The 2 guys in the red shirts on the ends are from Idemitsu Oil
 

which is Japanese based oil company that was giving away the money for the best reaction time.

Had major traction issues like most of the other Audi cars
 

and the car was either running too lean in 3rd gear or the ecu was pulling timing causing the fuel to burn on the way out of the cylinder making a pop sound most of 3rd gear.
