Default Hey YS4. Did you ever sort out the DRL problem? .....

I want to go with E-Codes but I want to be sure of the DRL deal first. There is a guy in Calgary that has gone with the full e-code but he pulled the fuses for the DRLs and is only running with the city lights at 10W so it really isn't DRLs

Default no, I haven't... thinking of trying to use the highs at 25-30% intensity for the DRL's...

not sure if that's possible, but trying to figure out a way to do that. I don't want to go the city light route myself. I'll obviously have to pop in a couple of relays and jumpers or something.

Default The other option is to put in fog lights and run them.....

I might go that route in that I could mount them inboard of the intercooler openings. I think your high beam option has merit. I'm in way over my head when it comes to messing with my electrical system and would hesitate to do any of this.

Default well, I have never used the high beams... don't know why...

I guess I just don't drive on deserted roads enough.. Too damn congested in Southern Ontario I suppose. So, I might as well use them for the DRL's. Definitely cheaper and easier than buying and installing fogs IMO.

Default I think if you work some relays you could use high beams

and keep them functional for highs as well.

Default yeah, that would be the plan...

I'll eventually get around to it... but first I gotta get the purple neon lights under the car working first :-)
