High-speed freeway cornering (stories requested)
This is a question about various suspensions and at what speeds you corner on freeways. It's hard to describe an objective baseline (like road curvature and banking), but could people describe before and after experiences with their suspension mods. I guess it's also a question of tire rubber, but if you could leave that out of the equation, that would be best. That actually might a good separate thread. Please include details about roll-control springs, ride height, anti-sway bars, and whatever else you feel is important. Please also describe how your experiences affected your adjustment preferences. Thanks!

I don't have an S4 but I can tell you that generally high performance suspensions are able to handle speed better but usually require more attention. Increased camber and wider tires make a car tramline more and decrease understeer which usually makes a car stable at high speeds. My M5 with the stock suspension was really easy to drive fast on the freeway and rock steady on a 110mph sweeper. With full suspension, it takes a lot more attention and is more sensitive to inputs which is overall better for handling but not necessarily better for freeway driving.
I think shocks and springs alone would help control that floaty feeling cars get at high speeds but beyond that it is always a matter of compromise. More camber for better turn in means twitchier at high speeds, etc.
