hmmmm.... M3 CSL edition? (big pics warning for you modem folk)
Basically, a prototype e46 version of the e36 M3 lightweight edition, which basically means thinner glass (a la Z06), carbon fiber galore, honeycomb structural components, light weight racing seats, and a SMG II tranny. Unsure if going into production due to cost factor.
compared to the production e46 M3: 440lb lighter 27bhp more 30 sec faster on the Nurburgring Nordschleife

http://www.bmwnation.com/NEWS/010904_a.html

|
Mmmmmm drool :)

Nice....what is the price? Getting too close to a used 911TT for me
|
Is that a manual or sequential or auto? look at the pedals...
|
Oooh!!!!!!!!! That looks like BMW's new sequential shifter thingy.
Apparently you just push the stick up and hold it there and hit the gas. When you release the stick back to the neutral position, the clutch engages. That way you can rev it up and dump the clutch. FUN FUN FUN!

You're kidding right? How's that work?
|
Saw your car in Aliso Viejo, you live around here ?
|
Already asked him that...

Is that what it is? Heard the acronym tossed around, dunno exactly what it is tho..but is that a
paddle on the right side of the steering wheel? Right above the 3:00 position, where the red dot is? The Ferrari F1 paddles (on the 360 at least) look a bit like that if that's what they are...kinda like (_ . _) right behind the steering wheel, where the "." is the steering column. (might not be paddle shifters, totally guessing here). The left side one wouldn't be visible at the angle the pic was taken at.
