Hoe do you program a key fob with out the original key fob?.......
I lost my original fob. I need to reprogram my new fob. Is the only way to do this through stealership.

you can use any working key (like the valet or the plastic one) in the ignition to reprogram the fob

i've done it, but can't remember exactly. there have been a lot of posts on this subject. do
a search. that's what i did at the time and it worked.
key not to be programmed in the ignition. other key in the door lock. i can't remember the sequence to program though.
you may need 2 keys, but as i mentioned in my other post, the other key does not have to be a remote fob key. you can use the little plastic emergency key in the ignition and the fob in the door.
