Holy Crap...had NO Idea that Clair Parts is ALSO an Audi Dealer?!
 

That sort of stinks as always wanted to use them to get parts that normally may seem suspicious. Like ECU's and screws etc.

I still use them for all OEM Audi parts.

They seemed to care when I placed an order.
 

I called for a spare TBB just in case I got a tear and would have to wait 2-3 weeks for service appointment or I was on a road trip. I have the old L model.

Me: I'd like to order a TBB with the new part #.

Clair: We don't recommend that you chip your car, it will void your warranty.

Me: I'm not chipping my car. I want a spare in case the older model tears. I have heard a lot of people have had tears.

Clair: Only chipped cars have torn the TBB. You're fine if you're not chipped.

Me: I'd still like to order one.

Clair: Please use the website to order.

Yes they gave me the spiel when trying to order something as well, in fact they.

I bought my S4 from Clair... good people workin there

HUH?! I bought 3 TBBs with no problem, I even spoke with one of the reps and he was very helpful...

Perhaps AOA has put some strain on Clair over the past couple of months?

I've spoken to 3 dealers there at one point or other and they all were pro "chip"

Just 'cause of the fact that my dealer (Day Imports, Monroeville, PA.) have to deal with these 'wanna be big company liers'..... I love my dealer!!! you go teach them!!!!
