As in 'ignore it and it will go away?' .. buyers aren't stupid. That's why the price is where it is.
Personally, I'm not bothered by the low price. I bought my car cheap and I don't care about re-sale. The money I put in to the car is money that I consider expense money.
If anything, the cheaper prices will mean more used parts available as B5 S4 cars get junked because it isn't worth repairing them.

Sorry.. I even looked up the definition.
I just have a hard time understanding how such a high quality piece of machinery loses so much value.. primarily based on time passing by.
My car handles better, has better luxury/ interior, and is faster than the majority of brand new cars for sale these days that are "allegedly" worth 2-3 times as much!
I was on KBB.com checking the trade in value of our '04 jetta GLI V6. I picked it out because of the hp but she wants something with better gas mileage. Go figure..
