Default home brew on the intake..little help ?

after seeing the $610 intake that vast performance has i decided its time to break down and make it instead..im gonna keep the air box cause it just seems more practical to keep all the air in a small area that way it gets more suck to it, and so i dont have to re map the sensors..im worried if i re locate them i will have check engine lights going off like the 4th of july, or will that not happen ?? any who where can i get the igt filter at.. i see alot of people have it on their x1 racers and darintake, seems to be ideal for trapping little h20 critters.

Default that $610 is for much more than just the air box. You care getting a larger MAF, new hoses, hardware

filter and more.

Default id like to see where you can get all that for less. Mike is not out there to rip anyone off.

With all my problems and mods he has been the best price. This wed he is doing my wheel bearing for almost half the price of a different tuning shop around me. I also think he is one of the few tuners who i could call on a saturday am for car help. Once again big props to Mike, Mike's Dad, Kurt, and everyone else at vastperformance for having the best prices and being the best out!

Default yeah.. for everything you get considering the labor and all, it's a fair price

imo anyway.

Default i think it's better than a fair price. When he did my 9xx tbelt job i was not expecting to open

up my hood the next day to find a spotless engine. I am talking radiator, ic's and all. Also there was dirt covering my ypipe to my abs controler and it looked brand new.
