Default Home Brew People - Need some help with Tuning - Part 2

Guys I have been helping my buddy tune his car.

Here is his setup:
Green Giant @ 4 bar = 520cc/50#
83mm MAF w/ Hitachi sensor
Giac X
Lem: 24% pulled primary fuel

Pink is with a Spike to 20psi - 18.5psi at reline.

What can we do about it running rich?

Default I'm no HB specialist but those LTFT's look pretty good to me. I've seen plenty of OTS kits...

that don't look that good.

Timing looks pretty bad to me though- thats a lot of timing retard.

Hopefully Jordan can chime in here.

Default Let's see boost, fuel injector duty cycle, and engine load. Try turning up boost ~2 PSI and see how

everything is affected before making further changes IMO. This is assuming that you aren't at high elevation where more boost wouldn't be as safe.

The shape of the fueling curve stinks, curious how more load will affect it.

Depends entirely on octane IMO. You're too used to **** water.

Default Here is what we got. I can have him add 2 psi and see how she does.

Default I know the 02 is a result of MAF g/s and other "stuff" and that he should be a bit richer.

he is on 91 oct.

But why isn't the 02 reading not flat but climbing?

Oooh, 91 octane explains CFs/timing ... And AFR desired curve explains fuel enrichment with RPM.

Default I didn't realize you were on 91 oct when I said that. I figured that is important enough it would be

mentioned. Hmm, I say still try it...but you may find that you need to add fuel and/or pull timing with Lemmi to get things right.
