Hood shock dead. Anyone have a source for replacement hood shock? Seems like...
local parts stores don't carry it. Does anyone know of an aftermarket one that fits?
Otherwise, I'll try ECS/Clair I guess to see what the part goes for.
Last week my hood opened fine, today it's like there's no shock in there at all

For *our* cars? I called Advanced Auto and AutoZone and neither even had a listing to order them
I even had them check a 2000 A4, but no dice there either
