Default well did a pressure test today because i got a little heat from my 1/4 mile times on friday......

and the line from my boost guage goes into a vaccume line and that line goes into a T. well when we pumped up the pressure i heard a loud hissing and it was comming from the where the whit plastic boost guage line goes into the vac line so i crimped the hose clamp tighter and it went away. the vac line that i cut into is the FPR line. i'm sure i've had this leak for a while could there be any adverse affects? or is it too small to even notice

Default If the leak was part of the FPR vac line then yes it can effect performance.

Since there will be less vacuum at the fpr during off boost causing a rich condition off the line and less pressure on top of the fpr during boost which will give you a lean condition while racing down the track.

Default damn 2pt your engine sounds gnarly. what size vac line is on our cars?

mine's beat and I'm wondering if that might be the source of my k04 nightmares (random boost + performance)?

I was going to go get a bunch of it and redo the fpr + bpv lines, but wondered if anyone had any idea where get it / what size?

2.0 is right. A vac leak at the FPR is very bad.
