Default What ever it is, its not right. Filled up this morning getting 19.5mpg (214miles) telling me I can

only go 35 more miles. Please tell me this is not normal.

I usually get close to 300 and I drive hard.

Default Really? That's odd. This happens when you're driving along a smooth surface?...

The gauge changes based on the fuel level data message sent to the cluster through the ECU I believe. At least that's how alot of other cars work. It is an update-on-change needle in those cases. Basically the needle stays in the same spot until the data changes or you cycle ignition, etc.
