How to disable EDL in a 2000 without wiring in a switch?

Is there away to disable the edl without setting off a rough road signal to the ECU? will pulling the small two wire connector at the bottom of the ABS pump accomplish this? If so, how do i unplug that plug...any tricks? ive tried a few times but cant figure out how to unlatch it...there isnt much room around it

all you have to do is take out the ABS fuse, 2nd row 3rd fuse

Sorry to sound dumb... what does that do? Just cause an open rear diff?

NO! NO! NO! this causes big problems!!!!!

Don't do it! Your car will run all sorts of weird!! :p

but seriously, i've never tried this, however I know from enough sources that it causes the car to run quite poorly and at least in 1/4 mile runs the car runs slower then when you had the ABS fuse in. There is some problem that it causes with the throttle or something. Very odd. I've had too many people tell me don't do it to not think they are right.

however, edl kill switch KICKS ASS!!!

EDL basically applies the ABS system on a tire that is "slipping" to transfer the power

to the other side. However, if you are trying to launch your car or gun it in first - in theory, the last thing you'd want to happen is have your breaks come on. The EDL kill switch that blitz has wired up in my car and several others, hotwires the abs system to thinking the breaks ARE on when the tire is spinning even though in actuallity they are not. His switch also keeps the brake lights working as usual.

I did a launch in first gear and had the car almost sideways on a dusty/sandy road last week. It is a blast! however its a good idea to turn it off in the rain since it can catch you off gaurd!

Isn't there rumor of someone making an actual switch that would sit next to the foglight one?
