How do I check and see if my diverter valves are blown?

Default How do I check and see if my diverter valves are blown?
Something about plugging the nipple? I can't remember...
I took both out of my car....

Default Compress the piston and then cover the vacuum port with your finger. If the piston returns to the
closed position, you have a leak.
