how do i pull the upper oilpan, all the bolts are out and the thing doesnt wanna budge.

did you get all the bolts? there are some hidden inside the actual pan, plus under the flywheel
I'll go count for you...
Reason I bring this up is I did the exact same thing... eventually I found them. and it pops right off when you do.

there are 18 bolts plus the oil pump and cover which must come off...
once they are all undone there are 4 set pins that hold it from shifting so using a dead blow knock it straight away from the block.
