Default How do I remove a broken brake bleeder screw? >>

STFA already and did not find a readily available answer. For those n the know the screw is hollow and broke while loosening during the bleed. We then put a small extartor tool in the hollow center of the screw, but we used too small of an extrator and it ( extractor) therefore broke with not much force. Now the hollow screw is no longer hollow and we can not drill out the hardened extractor piece. We have thought about a cutoff wheel and a larger extractor, have already tried vise grips, and heat. Has anyone been in the situation and what did you do. Thanks in advance. G

Sounds like you tried everything I would have... what were your plans with the cutoff wheel?

Use a craftsman screw out damaged screw remover. Its basically a reverse drill bit.

Default A torch and Vise-Grips are your friend>>

Due to the fact that threads were available to grab, all that was needed was an abundance of heat and the caliper off of the car in a vise. thanks for the help.
