Default How does chipped/piggie S4 do against a stock STI? Ran into STI tonight on highway

and it was a kid driving it, so of course he wanted to run. I am not an idiot and fully knew that I would get annhilated. I let him know this and he agreed, so then we did it anyways just for the hell of it, see how bad it would be. Surely enough he pulled away rather quickly. I figure hp difference was 50 in his advantage, are STI's really light cars? Anyways I have been contemplating getting rid of my A4 and trying to get my hands on an S4. I would then plan on chipping, piggies, and suspension (bring neuspeed rear sway I have with me). Getting beat on so badly tonight makes me think about S4 more. For those of you with that general setup how do you do against evo's and sti's? S4 should have about 30 or 40 more hp at that point, but still weighs more...

Stage 2+ would easily pull 2-3 cars on a stock sti and an older evo

Default Wow, yeah need to find an S4. I still like A4, just want a lot more power, spending $5K+ on stage

3 would put me in pretty similar cost range as selling A4 and buying S4 chip and piggy it. And then if get bored with that go stage 3 (years down the road).

Stock Sti's dont have much juice at high speeds. Terrible gearing and only 300hp.

Default My old stage 2+ killed a stock STI at the strip. I found the Motor Trend numbers hard to believe

after that.
