Default How much should I pay for downpipe install?

I am shooting for late next week. Hopefully it will be done right the first time and the turbos will like their new friend...

Also, anyone got them installed at Curry's Auto Service Chantilly, VA? They are an APR dealer and they quoted me $600

I am sure I can get it done cheaper here in DC though...(maybe at newagain auto)

Default John, that is a good price, and if they have experience doing it, all the more reason to go with

them...

Default They have said they have done a few before.

Lots of people have done it themselves - I just don't know... I guess I dish out a few extra bucks and have a clean install

10 hours???? $60 an hour, quite costly for a shop that "knows how to do them"

Default Lots of people? I don't know about that. I would dish out the bucks for the clean

install. It is not a simple modification. Not overly difficult like changing the turbos, where the engine has to come out, but difficult unless you are Jim de Aras.

Default If there is no danger to the turbos and they will let me stay in the shop

I might go with a cheaper place. Need to think a bit more. Newagain has never done one, but they modify cars, do motor swaps, nos installation etc... If you don't mind, how much was yours? (can always e-mail me)
