Default How's the rust situation in Salt Lake City?

I'm looking at a b5 avant in SLC. Is this a bad idea given the salt use on the roads? This one has higher mileage and winter use. Will I find the undercarriage fasteners impossible to remove? TIA.

Default That's why I'm asking.

I'd certainly be changing the suspension and exhaust. Will a 4 year old, 100K+ mile S4 in SLC have rust fasteners on all those parts?
