Default I 8 a Z8 for a late night snack....

Normally I do not post stories like this but I could not resist...

Last night around 8:00 pm I was driving North on Lincoln Blvd making my way to San Vicente to visit my gitlfriend. As I turned right on San Vicente (heading east towards Brentwood) I noticed some Xenons fast approaching from behind. The guy approaching kept flashing his fogs and weaving in and out of traffic to catch me. At around 14th he pulled up next to me in a silver BMW Z8. He started to accelaerate and so did I...I pulled away from him reaching about 95 to 100, carefully monitoring my V1 due to large contingency of SMPD in the area. When we got to the light at 26th street a gentelmen in his early 50's driving the Z8 rolled his window down and asked what kind of car I was driving. I told him it was an Audi S4...he commented he could not believe how fast it was. He asked how much an S4 cost...I told him it was about 1/3 the price of his fine car. The light changed and we went on our merry little ways.

I believe that car is somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 horses...I guess he really wasn't pushing it when we started going at it...just thought I would post...please no flames.

Umm is it just me, or are there lots of things lacking on the central console? Radio? Are those ***** for the fan/temp? Maybe it's all compact beneath that cover?

Default fan controls below the center vents, radio down lower behind that silver panel - also, this is...

a Euro-spec one that was hand built for pre-production testing, so some things may have changed. If I recall correctly, this one had a Serial Number <20

Default They could have done a little better planning with the dash though

For example: if they tach was on the left of the speedo

However, they sound awesome, and ride like an extension of your body.
