Default I decided to try a fats run with my maf unplugged this morning. 5.01 fats. *whew!*

I really didn't want my car to be faster with the maf unplugged.
Then I did a fats run with the maf plugged in. I pulled a 4.29 fats and a 5.86 fats+ (4-7K rpm) It was 79 deg outside, I used 93 octane and boost was 18.1 psi@4200, 17.3@6500, 16.1@7000. I left the a/c on, not sure if that makes any difference.
Sorry for the lack of chartngrafs, I don't have wireless at home or I would be posting from my laptop which has Excel.

Default seems like you should be faster

4.29 isnt slow by any means, but i would have thought you would be high 3's with all those mods.

Default I couldn't disagree more. I run basically stage 3- boost. Look in the fats database and compare to

cars running 20+ psi boost in similar weather conditions on pump gas. I'm right there with them. I also stated the my A/C was on, but failed to note that my W/W reservior is empty, so my misters don't work. My bigger maf only makes a small improvement to pressure ratio, the bigger injectors might not even be necessary at these boost levels, and z/c turbos will not turn your car into a rocketship.

fats database

Yup. I saw your post and decided to see if an unplugged maf would help.

Default A.) Your MAF is working B.) You have mistmatched MAF/Injectors

From what I've heard/seen with people that run a hombrew MAF/fueling setup, unplugging the MAF is much slower unless you adjust fuel appropriately. Odds are you were crazy rich. For the hell of it, you should log 02 voltages with it unplugged vs plugged.

Default It's A.) My maf is working. I also logged my 02 voltages, info---->

More than anything I was bored and looking for an excuse to drive my car fast, do some logging and see what happens with my maf unplugged.
With the maf plugged in my 02 voltages started at .85 and crept up to .88 by redline- which is good because my s/w really starts ratcheting up the timing past 5500 and my CFs start to climb.
Maf unplugged, my 02 voltages stuck at .92. I was suprised I wasn't smoking like a hotrod deisel.

Default Sweet, good info. That would explain the slowness.

My understanding was that with mistmatched maf vs injectors, you'd run even richer with maf unplugged than if they were matched...but then again aren't you *adding* fuel due to your mismatch?
