Default I eat motor mounts. (Are there any that don't suck?)

So I've done some searching around and found out that my ECS "RS4" mounts may not be the quality OEM mounts I thought they were. In any case, after 3,000 miles, no hard launches or shifts, and normal street driving, I've got the click of death again on the right side.

My car doesn't make big power (GIAC-X and ASP catback) and I don't beat the absolute crap out of it, so I'm at a loss here. I recently changed the motor mounts, tranny mounts and the snub mount, and figured everything would be good and tight.

I'll sacrifice some NVH for the peace of mind knowing my drivetrain isn't flopping around and I won't have to swap mounts ever again. - Any aftermarket solutions? (I saw the Stasis mounts here but didn't find them on their site) Should I pony up the cash for genuine RS4 mounts?

Sometimes I feel that owning a high mileage Audi is a lot like being forced at gunpoint into a gay bar wearing a shirt that says "Pull my hair and f@#k me!"

Default ECS mounts aren't Avon - I think. Try Vast or Europrice

Stasis sells some semi-solid big-ballar mounts. $$, but very nice

Default I'd get the OEM (Avon) RS4 mounts.

And I would send those bad mounts from ECS back to them and demand a refund. For whatever reason, they aren't holding up. 3K miles is rediculous, even if you've got 450 hp for them to contend with.

Vast, Europrice, AWE, or Purems...all sell the Avon mounts.

Got a TSB/DTS yet? I'd throw one of those on - it tightened things up for me.

Default I just picked up a 2001.5 S4 and it needs new mounts as well. The previous owner is going to buy...

the parts, do you know the part number for the RS4 mounts, or is there one? He has a friend at the Audi dealership I think, so it would be easiest to order that way. Thanks

Hell, I always thought you preferred the Skin-So-Soft from "Avon" No?

Default Don't have it handy...you'll have to search to see if you can dig it up.

Mike at purems might have the part numbers handy. If he sees this, I'm sure he'll post.
