braking - just before coming to a stop. Braking to reduce speed doesn't produce the same result; only when coming to a full stop. **edit*** the pulse is not continuous - it's just one short pulse.

Any ideas what this could be? I'm running stock HP2s and pads. Also stock rotors. Because I'm running stock rotors, my first thought was they're warped, but that would cause more pulsating and vibration IIRC. So I'm not too sure what this could be.

I'm pretty sure I didn't have this noise before I had my Autospeed DTS installaed, but I don't see how it could be related.

And I sit here wondering if there is or was ever a completely trouble-free B5S4.

I'm wondering if one of the rear axle reluctor rings/tone wheels has a hairline crack in it. Unable to be picked up by VagCom, but usually able to be seen with a bit of disassembly.
