I have APR chip and today I had...

The check engine light come on... I have had the chip for atleast two months with no trouble... I am swapping out back to the stock unit.. Has anyone expirience this before...

OK stock cleared problem

Now I am putting the APR back in... I noticed that when I pulled it out it was extremely hot..

Of course the DTC went away...it never had a chance to get stored in the stock ECU!

Find someone w/ a Vag-Tool or VWTool...

Yeah, find someone w/ a Vag-Tool and check the codes...
