Default i have one of the vaguest questions to ask, can anyone help me~!?

i am about to purchase a set of 18" rims however i am not certain if they will fit on our cars... i had them on an a4 i know they fit perfect however not sure if they had enough clearance for our brakes... the inside rim diameter is about 16", 18x8.5, et40, 5x112. this is all the info i have... you think itll clear~!? should i just buy them and if they dont fit flip them? or should i just get b6 avus' and call it a day already~!?

Had similar size wheels and had to sell because of not fitting. Dont buy unless you try them first. Calipers will probably grind without spacers and then you'll debate on rolling your wheel wells, etc.

2nd on the model. same offset, width, inner diameter doesn't guarantee it will clear the brakes.

stock rims are 7.5" though, you can't directly compare offsets

Default Carlsson 1/6 evo.

im sure many here will be against them, however i think they look hot on b5's. i had them on my a4, there was a great deal of clearance however i am not certain if they will clear s4's calipers... grrr.

Default Just a guess, but I doubt it. Those are thick "spokes" and a lip. Also, be very careful....

when test fitting. If your pads are worn when you test fit, when you put in new pads, you can lose ~8mm of clearance.
