Well, she really wants a Toureg and I want her to get a S4 Avant. Somehow (I know I am brilliant) I got her to go with manual transmission, which nicely eliminated the Toureg; she does not like the Cayenne. So now we have many less otions. X3, X5, Allroad, or S4 Avant. She wants something larger than the S4, which really points to the Allroad. (Something larger would be nice, considering that R32 is my daily driver.)
So, do I keep bugging her to get the S4 Avant (B5), or "compromise" with the Allroad? (Still a bi-turbo!)
(I know, this is a great "problem" to have.)

Outside of Audi, you could go with a V70 R 6MT ...
Larger than the S4 Avant, about the same as an A6 (C5), 300 hp, turbocharged, manual tranny option, well equipped new for mid-$40k MSRP.

Not going to that dealer. They have the XC90 which she loves. I am trying to forget about that!
I did suggest V70R - her eyes were all on the XC90. Did not like the VOLVO WAGON. (She drove a blue 240 wagon is High School)
I would like to stick with the VAG brand, just because I am in the business, and like part interchangeability, have things like VAG-COM, chiped software, etc. But who knows, I may love the V70R. Will give it a try.
