If you have the Bose system, nothing, unless you want to install and amp and a bunch of wiring.

Default Cheap and easy would be pretty much any 2-4 ohm 6" subwoofer
There is a tech article on that option. Sound quality will vary. More involved would be removing the rear speakers and just running a subwoofer.

Default Is your bass turned all the way up? OEM speakers can only handle so much volume.
If you turn the bass way up and then crank the volume, the OEM speakers will be overdriven in a short period of time. If you're that into music, consider replacing everything with better equipment.

no, the bass is set kinda low actually, just looking for a good alternative w/o replacing everything

Default I replaced mine with generic Blau's I bought at Fry's.
Sound about the same, not as bassy though. At least they don't blow when turned up.

Quart 6.5 coax w/ comp x-overs are a nice way to go.
