also $300 for a CV boot install. I'm well out of warranty (105k) and hardly want to pay that kind of money to repair a car that's worth less than a civic. And why does Audi put such crappy parts on this car? I don't think I've done a hard launch in 50k miles.

Searched the archives and I see that purchasing RS4 motor mounts from a place like ECS would be wise. I live in SE Pennsylvania - where is a good shop that won't rape me on the repair? Heard AWE...

Default AWE doesn't typically do *repair* work

Where in SE PA are you? If near Morgantown, shoot me an email.

Default I'm actually right near willow grove

Yeh thought so about AWE. Guess I'll just "have to" upgrade to stage 3.

Whoa! You could drive the car to CA, have me do it and still spend less than that.

Default me too. AWE or woodlawn are your best bets.

i prefer woodlawn. they're a lil' out of the way, but do the work you need all day long.

Default Labor on motor mounts should be much less.

I spent a touch under 300 to replace my snub mount, and about 350 for my side motor mounts.

Thats a **** take. They must be wanting to charge
you to take the engine out which you don't
have to do. You just need to support the engine
from above and drop the subframe.

Default Im late - but thats insane...

Labor entails removing front bumper - about and hour and 1/2 remove, likewise to reinstall (doesnt really take that long if you are experienced in it). Part is something like $20 for a snub mount I think.
