Default That is what i had on my previous s4 however people then were telling me to go to a darin intake. On

this car i am building i want it to be a performer and still be very streetable. Will the evo yeild much more gains than a drilled box, will i run right being a a box stage 3? Are there limits with the stock box, i hope it would not be that restrictive?

Default From what I have seen the AWE stg 3 kit runs much better with an open air filter intake on all boxes

As far as other tuners kits I have no idea. But yes there are limits to the stock intake. I know the PEB stg 3 is using an open air filter also.

Default There are others making numbers just as big. But that is not the point.

It is all about what each individual wants. But sure try both and see what works best for you.

Default Think I should look into getting one too? Do you still use the stock snorkel?

Got any pics?

Default I would highly recommend it. I am running a modified EVO intake with a bigger filter right now. I

can take some pics if you want. And yes I am still running the stock snorkel, I think it provides a little extra fresh air.

BTW YGM

Default K&N Cone inside airbox worked well for me...

granted it takes some work to connect the filter to the box, but here are the results:

Green - Stock S4 Airbox, K&N Cone Filter
Orange - S4 Airbox with 3" hole, OEM Audi Filter
Blue - Stock S4 Airbox, OEM Audi Filter
