i need HID help...
i have a 55w HID kit for my regular halogen lights that after everything is installed properly will not light up. i have a canadian car, will that be why it's not working ? is there some special fuse or whatever that i need to put in?
this kit was from the retro-solutions GB from a while ago so if anyone has experience with that chime in. thanks |
I just installed my 55W kit yesterday. Works perfectly. Something must be wrong....
with the install or the components. I'm in Calgary, BTW, where are you located?
|
vancouver, maybe i have those little connectors backwards
|
The black wire on the kit goes to brown on the car.

Looks good, should i get 5k or 6k bulbs
|
Well, as you can see, 5000k is pure white, 6000k is almost pure white with a blue tinge...
I would probably go 6000k if I were going to do it again. I only got 5000k to match my high beams (5000k also).
|
ah ha, solved, thank you. my new lights look great
|
Nice ill get 6000k, My dad rode with me today and told me my lights suck compared to his evo
