I wonder if this would work with VAG-COM?
I've lost access to the laptop I would use for my VAG-COM work. But, I wonder if this Bluetooth thingy would work so I could VAG around from my desktop machine. You'd need two of them to make it work.

I doubt it. VAG-COM has to play some cute tricks with the serial port to
get the needed 5 baud and 10,400 (?) baud rates, and it also uses the control leads in a non-standard way. This looks as if it passes a "standard" serial stream only.
