I've had my VIN since 16 Sep - my dealer got it on 14 Sep. You're thinking that my dealer BS'd me about my prod date? Don't know, but it went into F status on 14 Sep, which is *exactly* week 37.

Now I've read on the list that it's supposed to be 6 weeks from F stat to delivery. My dealer says it should be 2 weeks from port to delivery - port was 24 Sep. So, there's a week and a half missing. Maybe they only send boats every two weeks, so if your car goes F just before the boat leaves, you get it 2 weeks sooner than if you just missed it.

When does the dealer's computer say your car went F? I'll bet it says 31 Aug. Your dealer had a VIN that day, whether or not he gave it to you....
