I'd do a used 911 Carrera 4S. Best of both worlds!

Audi_in_Van 02-19-2009 01:21 PM

can't find one in my price range :( dont wanna get older than 06

HIS4 02-19-2009 01:21 PM

Daily driver - RS4, weekend fun car - Cayman S, real sports car - Carrera C2S

C2S recommendation assuming budget doesn't allow for a 997TT or GT3.

Slave IV 02-19-2009 01:29 PM

Agreed, but I'd take this for a real sports car:

<a href="http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/boxster-cayman/161368-biggest-cayman-project-ever-widebody-turboed-x51-cayman-s.html" target="_blank">WB TT Cayman</a>

RS4 without a thought

Didn't MotorTrend vote the Cayman S as the 2nd best handling car?

lemieux@curbside 02-19-2009 01:50 PM

jprice@CPS 02-19-2009 01:55 PM

Cayman hands down!

B5S4/C5A6 02-19-2009 01:58 PM

b5 rs4

S40RCE:Smurf 02-19-2009 01:59 PM

Cayman w/ twin turbos

Jeff 'S iv 02-19-2009 02:17 PM

too many variables, daily driver? weather conditions? track toy? plans to mod? etc.

For a daily driver that might get lightly modded its rs4. More radical plans would suit the cayman nicely.

Slave IV 02-19-2009 02:22 PM

Why would anyone want one of those...

Audi_in_Van 02-19-2009 02:23 PM

daily drive, I don't drive much as I walk to work, so it's more for running errands, weekends, track

I live in Vancouver, so a lot of rain, and a bit of snow 2-3 times a year.

I don't wanna mod too much, just maybe a suspension for RS4

Audi_in_Van 02-19-2009 02:37 PM

Cayman definately would be a better handling car... here's the track comparo, food 4 thought

ChucktownS4 02-19-2009 02:44 PM

you could ask this on the audi forum or porsche forum with different results :)

ChucktownS4 02-19-2009 02:52 PM

if you think audi's are high maintenance try buying parts for a porsche btw. friend works on em'

Roque 02-19-2009 03:03 PM

RS4.

jeebus21 02-19-2009 05:01 PM

Cayman S without hesitation. Driven both; the Porsche is about perfect for me.

D-Fresh@Curbside 02-19-2009 05:47 PM

Z06... *flame suit on*

Tooned27::DWGarage 02-19-2009 05:55 PM

Cayman for the track... but RS4 I just want to ball out.

tekillator 02-19-2009 06:14 PM

+1

SilverSeattleS4 02-19-2009 06:28 PM

^ 2nd.

amercour 02-19-2009 06:29 PM

The Cayman is fun, and with winter tires it is extremely driveable in the winter

it makes a nice daily car, it is sexy, quick, handles nice... but as comfortable as it is (kinda bumpy) I imagine the RS4 is much more plush

Porsche will get noticed more by the females...

audiKP 02-19-2009 06:52 PM

only car or 2nd car?

Audi_in_Van 02-19-2009 07:28 PM

only car...

TPM2002 02-20-2009 05:15 AM

As only car...RS4 all day long

NJRickD 02-20-2009 06:03 AM

RS4 all day

TPM2002 02-20-2009 07:11 AM

Very nice chart! well done.

D-Fresh@Curbside 02-20-2009 07:24 PM

ZO6 is cheaper, lighter, faster and better on gas...easy decision

gamblerS4 02-20-2009 07:32 PM
