I'm afraid to chip my car

if that's the way you're leaning, DO NOT -- I repeat: DO NOT get a ride in/drive a chipped car
and certainly not a stage 3 car. You will never, ever be happy with a stock S4 after that.

144k on stock DVs? Those are probably already bad and sapping life from your turbos.
Chip it. It won't hurt to go full boost occasionaly. Just don't mash it to the floor from every stop sign. You don't HAVE to drive hard with a chip.

Yeah tomorrow is payday so I'm ordering 2 710N's and my new TBB and I
agree about driving hard. I just worry about auto X this summer and the street races (**legal of course**). I drive hard but not stupid. double clutch and no side stepping the clutch at 5k

i don't think the 3-5k is mandatory. it all depends.
my last blackstone analysis (at 50k miles) said to go ahead and try 8500 miles next time (did 7500 at that time).
I'd highly recommend doing the analysis, and taking appropriate action from there.

If you cannot afford turbos...
Get a honda. Because stock turbos are a wear item and they will blow. In all probability you have some time before they blow. Chip and start saving for stage III. There is no turning back.
