Default It's a very bad idea

you should get a B6 S4 instead

Default I think you should rephrase your question to: what should I look for if I was to buy a B5S4?

A B5S4 forum will generally tell you to buy a B5S4, just like a B6A4 forum will tell you to buy a B6A4.

Default If you take your time and buy a car that was loved it will treat you well...

If you buy a mystery from a random dealer you'll spend $1000+ a month getting the car sorted out.

It's the same as any car but when things go wrong on an S4 they can be expensive. Parts are not cheap and quality labor is a premium.
