you should do like i did... out the glove box, the cord makes it sit very nicely

right infont of the quattro badge, then when you dont want to see it its painless to open the glovebox and it falls right in. you also dont have to make any holes in your dash. air fuel guages are so busy, especially at night. trust me you really dont want it in your direct line of site or even close to it and deffinatly not solid mounted there. when the glove box is closed it pinches the the wiers to the guage and it sits there perfectly.

need a pic?

I'm putting mine in my A-pillar along with my boost gauge...I'm going to make a power

switch for it so when I don't want to use it I'll turn it off. To fix that "busy" look like Jared mentioned below. I'd use his idea tho

be careful...

make sure its just the guage that you power off and not the controler. if the controler is off and therefore the sensor is unpowered it will kill it. i made that mistake before and the sensors dont last long when in a running vehicle and unpowered. i went through three of them before i wised up and read into it. wouldnt you know that they actually tell you not to allow the sensor to be off in a running vehicle.
