Default installed my k03/16, some initial impressions

for pictures u can check out my previous thread <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1899324.phtml">here</a>.

well i'm running giac x chip. i haven't done any tuning yet, i'll get to that when i can. Jose "El Diablo" @ Eurotech did the install and said the turbos look really well built and spool very nicely. i can definately hear the turbo spool a lot better now. i'm not feeling the torque as much, but do feel more power at the higher end. i'm hoping after i tune it, that'll change.

that's it for now. oh this is with piggie dp, neuspeed cat back, giac x.

myfootsmells.

Default Definetly keep us posted, that is the exact set-up I'll be running in a few months

I might say "to hell with it" and buy RS4 intercoolers and Labree DP's... but i don't have the money for that yet :-/ Are you running a 5 bar fpr, TDC or MBC? I'm really interested to see how the car performs with the K16/Ko3's.

Did you have a chance to do any logging?

Default not yet, but i'm expecting to see some massive throttle cut action ...

since i was hitting throttle cut before. i didnt add an mbc to control the overboost though because i knew i was doing a turbo swap.

was there anything particular u wanted me to log?

TCD=MAP clamp, which eliminates throttle cut when running more boost than requested.

Nothing specific. Was just hoping to see some comparison FATS logs and a few 003/115 logs.

Default The more you can log, the better. If anyone around you has ECUx to log with, use that.

MAF, Timing, Timing Retard/Correction Factor on all 6 cylinders, Knock Voltage on all 6 cylinders, 02 voltages, etc, etc etc
