Interesting electrical occurrence...

Background: In addition to the Aquamist 1s water injection system, I have an intercooler mister system installed on my S4. It's the one with the Labtronics (?) controller, using the headlamp washer motor to spray the intercoolers. Ever since I've installed my AWE RSK04 fueling kit, it has not been running, because I couldn't get the fang setting right -- either it would spray practically every time boost was requested or it wouldn't spray at all. Lacking time or the real inclination to fix it, it has just been set where it never sprays.

The occurrence: I was turning my car off today, when I was cycling the key from the on position to the off position. I was moving the key rather slowly and paused a second in between the on position and the accessory position. When I did that, the headlamp washer pump now connected to the intercooler mister controller started spraying. It would sustain this as long the key was left in that in between position, and was repeatable.

Any ideas why? Just a glitch in the way the controller was designed? I think it gets power off of the 75X switch underneath the driver's dash. Oh, and with it being so damn hot, I think I will go and tinker with it some so it sprays when I want it to.

my awe boost gauge comes ON when turning from off to on, then goes OFF before ignition, then

comes back ON when the car starts.. 75x is the post on the fusebox right? i'm pretty sure thats where i have my boost gauge hooked to

Yep, I think mine does that too.
