Intrax bars...Q about greasing the rear bushings-- - >
I have new set of Intrax ARB's..not installed yet.
I'm curious how often others grease the bushings?
I found an old picture on the Intrax site and it looked like there was a grease fitting in the mounting bracket for the rear bar.
I haven't opened the box yet, but I don't think the new bars come with the grease fitting.
Is modding the rear bracket and the bushing so I can hit it with a grease gun occassionally, a worthwhile project?

I grease mine everytime I have the car in for service <more>
I know we've talked about it before off AW, but I figure I'll post my experience for others to see
I've had the bars on since early last year and I've greased them maybe 3 times total.
Only once did they actually require it to keep the bushings from moaning and groaning. That time I actually did it myself with a little white lithium grease. Vinny at VAG/MS used some clear stuff (maybe a marine grease?) that works well too when he worked on the car.
As for greasable bushings, it sounds like a good idea! It would make like mush easier! The only thing I'd be concerned about is modifying the brackets. I'm not sure I'd want to mess with the integrity of those things! Maybe there is a way to do it while leaving the brackets alone!
