I was in the silver A4 Avant.

cause i'm positive i passed a silver avant on Main St. on Sat . I was headed over to KevinH's to check out his KW coilovers. Dig Avants too (really wanted an S4 avant!)

Waterfest is apparently the largest VW/Audi gathering in the country. I know that European Car and Performance VW cover the show each year, and lots of modded VWs show up.

I've not been before, but I plan on checking it out this year. Have been out of the VAG loop for nearly 10 yrs. until getting the Audi.

The Avant you saw has H&R coilovers. I'm getting the car raised (!) this week, as it keeps scraping on parking ramps and such and I don't want to crack/puncture the oil pan or damage suspension components.

I just need to find someone who has a nice SLR I can borrow so I can take some good pics.

It seems as though A4 Avants and S4s are still very rare cars- although one serious Audi enthusiast must live in Ft. Lee- he/she has an Imola Yellow S4 and a black TT coupe. Very nice.

If you go to Waterfest, look for a lowered A4 Avant with Oettinger REs and limo tint on the back windows. That would be me.
