Just finished Hsport sway install. Have a question and my impressions after 10 min inside
Question: Is the "stiffer" of the two settings on the rear bar the higher or lower hole on the ends of the sway bar? I put the bolt through the lower hole, thinking that was "stiffer". Am i correct?
10min driving impressions:
Difference is not as dramatic as i was expecting. Everyone on this forum talks so highly of anything theyre happy with, then it builds my expectations and im not as satisfied initially as i am later. Body roll greatly reduced, i knew that would happen. The thing i was looking for most was oversteer. It doesnt understeer but it doesnt quite oversteer. Feels pretty neutral, and i think i have the rear on stiff. Maybe in the rain or at higher speeds ill be able to swing that rear around, but ill post again next week after ive put some mileage on em.
Also, i may have a bit of a fitment issue. The rear sway is extremely close to my ASP exhaust (cold), and i know when the car is running and heats up, and the exhaust expands, its going to rub on the bar. I put the rear bar as high as it can go. Anyone else have this issue? maybe ill just put some heat wrapping on the exhaust where they touch to provide some cushion.
ttyl guys!
