Default As of right now there aren't any aftermarket motormounts.

The are a bit of a bitch to replace due to the top bolt on the passenger side being so close to the intake tube. I figure around $800 to replace. In the future I suggest you get an AWE DTS and an APR snub mount.

Default why would the dealership not warranty it?

please don't say cause you have a APR chip.
what about having it replace out of pocket?

Don't settle for that. Bitch to management then go to another dealer and/or AoA!

Default that is B.S.... call AOA customer relation 877 354 2834

and voice your concern.
They should be able to assist you. This is the first I've head about this.
Don't sit back... you should persue this all the way with either the Dealership or AOA

Default devils advocate here....they DO **somewhat** have a point....

STOCK POWER and no "racing" probabaly woudl not degrade the motor mounts before the warranty period is up. also audi expressly says that you cannot track/race your car...thats in the warranty. although it seems yuou don't dump your clutch and launch...you did have greater than stock power, and neither you nor they have any proof you didn't "dump the clutch"....

Default But if they can't proove he dumped the clutch....

then they're just trying to weasel out of it.

But you're right, the only valid argument is that the mounts weren't designed for the power/torque increase of the chip.

But they didn't use that arguement, they just made something up. I'm sooooo glad I don't have to deal with dealers, and can do my own work.
