Default Just got back from changing tranny and diff oils to redline. WOW!!!

Just changed tranny and front diff oil to redline lightweight shockproof oil and rear diff to redline 75w90NS. The NS stands for no slip, it is a specail formulation to provide more lockup in non limited slip differentials. The initial impression before even turning the car on and just shifting in and out of gears was already noticeable, but after a short drive im sold on redline. Shifting is smoother as well as the driveline flex(p.s. I have uuc ads and ams snub mount) even with this everything feels like butter. Also upshifting into second and third much smoother. By the way if anyone is curios the front took about 3 quarts and the rear about 2 quarts.

Default Is this a do-it-yourself type mod (I don't have a Bentley manual yet); assuming very good...

mechanical aptitude? Is the drain and fill plug on the tranny relatively easy to get to? TIA :^)

Default Now try some Royal Purple motor oil :)

The dealer still can't figure out why the car pulls so hard

Default Did this about 1k miles ago, same impressions...

All Redline (same fluids as you), shifting has become much smoother, especially when cold.

I also run RedLine 5w30 engine oil, very happy with the RedLine products.

Default Not that dificult easier here some more instruction info.

You will be better off i you have two people. You will also need the following

4 jackstands (or a lift)
oil drain pan
10mm hex key(ratchet socket preferable)
fluid pump

Jack the car and put it on 4 jackstands or lift make it level. First the front drain plug is right under the tranny you cant miss it. The filler is up on the right side if you are looking upwards at the tranny.(PS. one thing i learned long ago is always loosen the filler before you loosen the drain, this way you are guaranteed to be able to put oil in if you drain it) Loosen both plugs and let drain. Fill a bottle with three quarts and start pumping into filler. Fill till oil starts dripping from filler. Spin the wheels to get the oil to start moving into nooks and crevices. Repeat this procedure several times while filling each time till it drips. For the rear follow essentially same instructions except filler is on the opposite side and only use two quarts. By the way my factory oil was pretty damn dirty for only 13k miles and also the factory front oil smells like ****.

Is there a good place online to buy Redline products at a discount?

Default Sounds good; but I don't have access to a lift; just jack, stands, and ramps for driveway use. Is..

there even a place in Cincy area where one can rent a bay with a lift? I don't have any inside connections like a buddy that works at a place where one can do off hours work using a lift. Might be SOL...
