Just got back fro the dealer 16k service

Did all the coding for the windows and doors did a throttle adaptation. They even truned my rotors and adjusted my steering wheel which was a millimeter off center. Truly amazing service, can't wait to get the call regarding service from AOA.

Nope, they told me 0w40 synthetic is new from Mobil 1

When I emailed Mobil asking where to buy 0w-40 they said...

Apparently this would be news to Mobil as well - I think your dealer is a little confused

Could it be that that they are a Porsche-Audi dealer? Everyone there is from Audi in Germany. They did confirm that they are importing it specifically for torbo cars and put it in at the request of the owner.

It does exist... in Europe and Asia

Mobil 1 0W-40 is a Euro product; but apparently is available at some US Porsche Dlrs

I saw some oil at a Pep Boys or Autozone that Mobil 1 didn't have on their site...
 

So I wouldn't consider their site the be-all-end-all collection of their products. The oil I saw was an oil designed specifically for turbocharged and high-compression engines. I think it was 0w30 tri-synthetic but in a greenish bottle rather then the blue for the cheap stuff and silver for the exprensive stuff.
