Default Just got a call from the dealer

brought my car in to the dealer this morning, due to a high pitched noise when turing, as well as a weird smell (rotten eggs) after pushing the car. The dealer said that it was my intake tensioner ?leaking and the noise is because i have non stock lug nuts and bent control arms and tie rods. Does this sound right? or is the dealer pulling my chain?

What the heck does "non-stock" lug nuts mean?

Default Odds are it's a bad wheel bearing. I would take it elsewhere to get a 2nd opinion.

If your bolts are not OEM, definitely put OEM's on there if you have OEM wheels. Then take it elsewhere for a second opinion.

Default Bad Cats

Are you running 93 octane? Try filling up with high octane gas (running one tank through) and see if the smell goes away.

Default I wonder if i should put my stock rims back on before taking it to dealer tomorrow...

I have a torn CV boot and joint might be bad can they try to deny warranty for having rims since the ride is not as smooth with 18's? ACtually, they'll probably deny warranty since I'm lowered...darn
