Default Just had bank 1 dp replaced under warranty.....
So I had the P0421 code multiple times---finally the part got replaced under warranty today. I"m at 76,700 miles. All I paid for was half hour of labor since my aftermarket exhaust clamp was siezed up. Anyway, total parts and labor cost was like $1300. Unbelievable. And that's only ONE dp!!!

what is p0421, and why is a DP causing it?

Default Could be an ECU setting that is "too tight"....so as the cat degrades over time....
the computer thinks it's worse than it really is. who knows.
