Silver S4

Got them from clair, 56 dollars for everything. They come primed with the mesh behind them. I will proceed to make my bumper look like the RS4 front end. I think a little work to cut the divider out of the three parts shouldn't be too hard. Getting some new mesh should be easy enough. Will try and make a new grill for the hood also so they all match. you'll see that the mesh section has tabs that were heat melted. these tabs are actually a part of the main mold. ask anotherdrew, he's already cut the mesh out of the left and right pieces.

the tricky part will be the center grill section b/c they too are heat melted on. you'd have to either cut those tabs from the front of the bumper (which is near impossible) or just take the whole bumper off to get to it. that center piece is probably going to be your worst enemy.

here's what i'd do, just as a start: get some black tape and put it on the middle slats. it'll at least give you idea of what the whole project will look like before you start actually cutting into the bumper piece. this mod isn't worth a whole bumper. i've already done some of this with the grills including the rs4 look and for some reason, i just like the plain s4 look better. if you actually look at the rs4, the vertical pieces underneath the plate are much more angular and wider. also, the left and right grills are set much deeper than the s4 hence, the rs4 look isn't quite there. the only thing that looks nicer is a different kind of mesh material behind the actual grill pieces.

good luck and tell us if you succeed in getting that middle piece out w/o removing the whole bumper.
