Default Just out of curiosity... what's book rate to remove an engine?

I just had my Motor Mounts replaced, and my advisor said that Audi books that job at 17 hours.

What's the Audi Book rate, say for replacing turbos?

Default r or r&r? I can check my labour guide tomorrow. Call me . . .

the real question is why are you removing the engine. You're not removing it just to put it back again, you're going to do something else . . . but as far as a shop is concerned I would guess *removal only* would be about 12 hrs.

without breaking anything.

okay i didn't read the entire post, so what do you want me to do with the engine?

heheh, I kid.

Josh the man @ Streetwerke can do it in 10.

*book times mind you*

Default I was told... that Audi says to pull the engine to replace the motor mounts...

My service advisor has no reason to BS me on this, so I tend to beleive him. They only pull the bumper and Turbo Inlet pipes...
